Letter: Too good to lose

Too good to lose

Dear Editor:

On June 17, Aspen is in danger of losing one of its great doctors when Dr. John Schultz closes his medical practice.

I know Dr. Schultz both as a patient and as a friend. He is a compassionate and technically excellent physician. He has served our community with care and skill for the last nine years and will be sorely missed.

Dr. Schultz is not leaving his practice by choice. If you feel that the hospital board should work with Dr. Schultz to retain him as the valuable asset to our community that he is, please let them know. If he has been your doctor and had a positive impact on your life, please let them know.

Our community hospital is only as strong as the staff and care that it provides.

Jenny Rose
