Letter: Tibetan monks not returning to Aspen

I am sorry to announce to you that the Gaden Shartse Tibetan monks will not be returning this summer. The group that came last summer is returning to its monastery in India at the end of the month.

I would like to thank all of the locals, businesses and visitors that made the monks’ visit last year such a great success, especially with their last-minute arrival. Thank you to all who have supported the monks over the years through your donations, time and participation. If you would like to support the monks, their monastery and future tours, please send donations directly to GSCF, 3500 E. Fourth St., Long Beach, CA 90814 (Gaden Shartse Cultural Foundation, a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization).

If you have question or are interested in future tours, please contact me at aspentibet@gmail.com.
