Letter: Throwing good money after bad

Editor’s note: The following letter was originally addressed to the Wheeler Opera House board of directors.

Dear Wheeler Opera House board,

Any arts organization that is able to pay its CEO $1 million per year does not need a $19,000 grant from money collected to support the Wheeler Opera House. There is any number of other arts organizations in Aspen that don’t squander their budgets on exorbitant CEO salaries.
