Letter: Thrift Shop grants go out

Every month, volunteers of The Thrift Shop of Aspen meet to continue to accomplish our mission: to make grants to other nonprofit organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley. We are grateful to all the community members who continue to support our efforts by donating and purchasing gently used clothing and household items.

For the month of June, we are pleased to announce the following recipients: Aspen Historical Society, Aspen Science Center, Aspen Junior Golf, Summit 54, Aspen Elementary School Mock Newbery Book Club, Earthbeat Summer Music Camps, Theatre Aspen School, Hudson Reed Ensemble, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Folklorico Program, Aspen Elementary Summer School, Aspen Fringe Festival and Response.
