Letter: The test of time

I came across an opinion piece in the Snowmass Sun that I wanted to share called “SVPD – There’s No Other Like It” (Feb. 10, 1984). The short piece talks about how the Snowmass Village police officers “help dig out snowbound vehicles, … lend support and advice for people with substance abuse problems, … watch our homes when we’re on vacation and our skis when we’re doing the apres scene. … They are our friends and neighbors. We can be proud of our local force. There’s no other like it.” This op-ed was written in 1984 and is still true today. Thank you, Art Smythe, for your vision and decades of service to this community.
