Letter: The horrific sight of a rock musician with tattoos

Ah! The Aspen Times (wrap) cover photo for March 18: What an eye-catching photo, one all the parents in town will applaud. Don’t they wish their child would emulate the fine character of this elegant vocalist, representing our distinguished town?

And large! We don’t want to miss the shaven head with a fuzzy top-knot, tattoos all over the singer’s body, hairy armpits, etc. Even if this guy had a voice like Sinatra, this photo would hardly encourage attendance.

Aspen is known for its elegance, skiing, hiking, fine dining and, of course, music.

It’s a shame our nationally recognized newspaper lacks discretion. At least the Times could have placed this lovely photo on an inside page, giving the Times an award for having some taste.
