Letter: Thanks to Jill Sheeley

Thanks to Jill Sheeley

The community at Aspen Elementary School would like to thank local author Jill Sheeley for offering an opportunity for students to enter the 13th Annual Fraser Creative Writing Contest.

Fifty-four students in third and fourth grade entered and were recognized for their creative efforts. The theme this year was “The Olympic Games.” Along with Mary Eshbaugh Hayes, Jill reads each story (some multiple times) and then together they determine the awards.

Our many fabulous young writers were honored.
