Letter: Thanks for a great event
On Oct. 3, Protect Our Winters, New Belgium Brewery and SmartWool held a climate-action event in Aspen that was a raging success. We packed the room, drank the delicious new Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale collaborative beer between New Belgium and Ben & Jerry’s that benefits Protect Our Winters and sent letters to the governor in support of the Clean Power Plan. We couldn’t have done it without the professionalism and generosity of the city of Aspen’s Ashley Perl and our host venue, Justice Snow’s, which took as much meticulous care with our event as it does with crafting an old-fashioned. Big thanks to Quinn Gallagher, Garrett and the rest of the great staff there for helping us push hard to protect our winters and for all of the good people of Aspen for coming out.
