Letter: Tax dollars are well spent at AVH
Tax dollars are well spent at AVH
Dear Editor:
I just had a very pleasant trip to the Aspen Valley Hospital emergency room. Dr. Catherine Bernard and her staff were top notch. Very professional, but more so, very caring and understanding. She took the time to figure out what was wrong with me, fix me short-term and get me on the path to a recovery. “Spot on, mate,” as my buds would say.
That’s where you want those tax dollars going the next time you have a bleeding ulcer, your daughter overdoses, your son was maching down Naked Lady and donked himself real good, or your girl got in a bad car crash.
Piss away a million on a bike race that we will lose money on? Look at the straight-shot again? Light rail? Hydro? The huge useless property at BMC property? All wastes.

Grateful for Boebert
All the liberal letters denigrating Lauren Boebert’s Second Amendment support are mere extensions of Trump Detangement Syndrome. Gun-haters believe limiting law-abiding citizens’ gun rights will decrease crime.
