Letter: Stop the midvalley growth
Stop the midvalley growth
Wow, I sure hope I’m not the only one living in the midvalley who’s a little more than concerned about the massive development proposed at the tree farm across from Willits Town Center — 400 new units, hundreds of vehicles and more than 1,000 people. Really?
The one good thing about the Great Recession is it stopped the out-of-control growth occurring in the valley.
Ace Lane will make his mega profit then leave the rest of us to deal with mess he’s created forever. I don’t know about you but I believe most of us chose to live in this great valley to escape the very congestion these types of developments will create. The one thing the developers and real estate people who will support this project depend on is your apathy. You can count me out of that group. If you share my concerns, take a couple minutes and email andrea.weber@eaglecounty.us or scott.hunn@eaglecounty.us.

Keep Crown Mountain Park free to all
An entrepreneur’s plea for a rushed commitment from Crown Mountain Park directors on his proposal for a 90,000-square-foot, indoor “sportsplex” should be delayed for proper vetting.
