Letter: Skadron stands behind his actions

Dear Editor:

Would you rehire someone who has been involved in some of Aspen’s biggest, costliest and most impactful blunders?

Would you rehire someone who continued to spend huge amounts of money that was not voter-approved for a questionable water-treatment plant?

Would you rehire someone who approved the grossly overpriced lumberyard purchase?

Would you rehire someone who approved blocks of oversized buildings while claiming to be preserving Aspen’s character?

Most important, Aspen, how could you rehire a person who supported the subversion of the land-use code in favor of the art museum’s monster affront to the character of Aspen?

Steve Skadron has the intellect to understand the problems, to think about what he is going to say, to speak honestly and to stand behind what he says. Steve has the courage to stand up and fight for his ideals and principles. We need him now!

Please vote for Steve Skadron for mayor.

Grateful for Boebert

All the liberal letters denigrating Lauren Boebert’s Second Amendment support are mere extensions of Trump Detangement Syndrome. Gun-haters believe limiting law-abiding citizens’ gun rights will decrease crime.
