Letter: Rupert can connect people

I urge all voters from Glenwood Springs to Old Snowmass to vote for Jen Rupert for Roaring Fork School District Board of Education. As the mother of a young child in the district, Jen has the interest, motivation and longevity to see that our schools continue to rise to the next level and beyond. As a longtime Roaring Fork Valley resident, businesswoman, community and school volunteer, and ski and soo bahk do instructor, Jen has the connections to make sure all voices are heard and to bring people together to generate action in our schools and our community. I have watched Jen interact with diverse community members, parents and teachers, and she has a unique ability to listen to all perspectives and to connect people on common ground. I am confident that Jen will listen to and engage all interested stakeholders throughout the valley on the issues that matter to our children, our teachers and our schools and bring the voices of the community to the school board as she works to make our schools the best they can be. Vote Jen Rupert for school board District A!
