Reel in the spending, Obama

Lets see: 100 members of the Senate at $174,000 per annum and another 435 House members at the same rate comes to roughly $93 million each year.

With the president constantly reminding us that he has “his pen and phone,” why exactly do we need these Congressional expenditures? I’m thinking we can accommodate a whole lot of homeless vets in that big building with the dome on top.
