Letter: Proposal for park needed

Ideas were respected at the Lowe Enterprises presentation to the public Thursday night. Now, a proposal to make the Pan and Fork site all park needs to be presented to the residents, the Town Council and the Downtown Area Advisory Committee. This would create an option for no development. The residents need the facts and figures of how much it would cost to purchase the Community Development Corp. portion of land. Then, it would be possible to make the Pan and Fork property all park.

Stay informed. Come to the Town Council meeting at the Basalt library at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
