Letter: Philippines need our help
Philippines need our help
We are member of the smoke-jumpers team from the fifth-grade at Aspen Middle School in the First Lego League competition. The theme of the competition this year is “Nature’s Fury,” where you have to study a specific natural disaster. But as we were researching our disasters from a very comfortable place, real disasters are going on in the world.
This weekend the biggest cyclone the world has ever seen hit the Philippines. Millions of people have been affected by this and entire cities and towns have been wiped out. Tens of thousands of people have died.
We would like to ask people in Aspen to think about donating to the Red Cross to try and help the situation.
