Letter: Old Town is still alive

Kudos to Pitkin County for removing the unsightly recycle bins in downtown Basalt.

And thanks to the town of Basalt. Because now in their place we have Butch’s Lobster Shack. I’m from New England (moved here in 1983), and believe me, I know seafood. You’d be hard-pressed to find any better west of the Mississippi.

I had the pleasure of entertaining the patrons this Saturday evening playing my guitar, and it was wonderful to see all the people enjoying Old Town Basalt. Thank you!
