Letter: Not our voice

I’m writing in response to the article regarding alleged improprieties in the recent Basalt election (“Basalt sues woman over open records request,” The Aspen Times, May 3). In that article, Mary Kenyon states that she “represents the citizens of Basalt.” I just want to make clear that my wife and I are 18 year residents of Basalt and Kenyon does not represent us.

The votes have been counted, and her candidates lost. Grow up, move on, and do not presume your feelings represent the entire populace.
