Letter: Nonprofits making a difference
Every month, volunteers of the Thrift Shop of Aspen meet to continue to accomplish our mission: to make grants to other nonprofit organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley. We are grateful to all the community members who continue to support our efforts by donating and purchasing gently used clothing and household items.
For the month of November, we are pleased to announce the following recipients: Aspen Words, Valley Settlement Project, Alpine Legal Services, Aspen Valley Ski Club, Shining Stars Foundation, Senior Matters, Basalt Regional Library, Carbondale Clay Center, Carbondale Middle School, Aspen Skating Club, Glenwood Springs School Special Ed/Life Skills, Special Olympics Colorado and Tom’s Door.
