Four positions in Pitkin County are not being challenged in this election.

• Rachel Richards, county commissioner, District 2

• Tom Isaac, assessor

• Janice Vos-Caudill, clerk

• Joe DiSalvo, sheriff

Contrary to the comment from the Aspen Daily News that there is a “lack of interest” from the community in these positions, I believe the community recognizes the knowledge, skill, talent, honesty, integrity and hard work represented by these candidates in their work for the county. They represent us well, and they have earned our respect and our vote. Please indicate your support by marking your ballot for them in this election.
