Letter: Letters should not be edited
Letters should not be edited
What is the purpose of accepting letters to the editor if you take creative liberties to change the content of those letters, which can completely change the context of a letter? You have been doing this for years.
Stop changing what people write because that is not truly what they have taken the time to say and compose for a public statement — or stop accepting letters to the editor.
