Letter: Let mayor, council members walk the walk
Rebecca Driscoll wrote a well-heeled letter to the editor (“Downtown not high-heel friendly,” Aug. 6, Letters, The Aspen Times). In her letter, she raises the issues of wearing high-heeled shoes in the core area of Aspen.
She challenges our Aspen City Council members to strap on some “sling-backs” for themselves and give it a try. As a huge supporter of philanthropy, I’m thinking there is a fundraiser here, and I encourage the mayor, Dwayne, Adam, Art and Ann to set a date, and let’s raise their heels and show some heart and sole for a nonprofit and save some souls at the same time.
Walk on.

Vote for Kimbo Brown-Schirato for council. She’s the right choice at the right time for Aspen. She listens, works extremely well with others, and she’s effective.
