Letter: Let Basaltines decide
Enough with the Basalt Town Council’s feet-dragging. Let’s put the Pan and Fork parcel question on the ballot in November. With accurate financial numbers and intelligent, time-tested urban planning facts in front of us, Basaltines can decide how we’ll heal our struggling downtown: With an expensive, taxpayer-supported summer dog park or with a sensibly scaled, road-front, mixed-use development to bring proven vitality to Midland Avenue.
