Learn about Camp Regenerat iontoday
Dear Editor,
For the past few years, I have gone to Camp Regeneration, a camp run by Eden Vardy and the nonprofit Aspen T.R.E.E. It is a farmyard and wilderness adventure day camp for 6- to 11- year-olds. Their mission is to “inspire our next generation to be stewards of sustainability through fun, practical, hands-on healthy living tactics for people and the planet!”
The past few summers that I have spent at Camp Regeneration have been fun, educational and empowering. After several years of being a camper, they have given me a small leadership role as an apprentice counselor. I’m very excited about helping this year and I want to make sure kids and parents know this wonderful camp exists.
This year, the camps will run Tuesday through Thursday for 10 weeks. Each week, there is a new theme, including Nature Discovery, Alpaca Adventures, Raising Animals and Goats and Dairy. All camps are held near Cozy Point Ranch, with field trips on Wednesdays. To find out more information, visit aspen-tree.org or come to the Eagle County Activities Fairfrom 4 to 7 p.m. this Monday at the Eagle County Building. Thanks to Eden Vardy and all of Aspen T.R.E.E!
