Letter: Just like Aspen

I have been following the story about Basalt’s dilemma of trying to figure out what to do with the Pan and Fork.

Looks like one side wants a park. The other side wants to be like Aspen and build, build, build. That group is heading in the right direction; they already have a lot of vacancies, like Aspen, blocking views and sunlight, starting with Riverside Plaza, like Aspen.

And soon to come will be a referendum that takes away the Town Council’s decision-making power, like Aspen.
