Israel’s fight for democracy

The Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan have for the first time remained silent in lambasting Israel for protecting themselves. These Arab countries all know that almost 200,000 dead (many civilians) in Syria, tens of thousands (probably more) dead in Iraq and Libya, Sudan.

The cold ruthlessness of the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria military on the move and threatening these Arab countries is the same as Hamas, who is supported by Iran, Turkey and Qatar. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant is — for all its brutality, be-headings, destroying churches, mass executions — no longer merely a terrorist organization; it is a military theocracy, and it is in the process of creating a new Sunni territorial state in the Middle East that is a threat to everyone. They are evil and motivated.

Fighting Hamas is just the tip of the Islamic iceberg. The world didn’t take Hitler that serious at first, then tried to negotiate peace with the Nazis and you know the rest of the story. Believe it or not, like it or not, Israel is the front line for the battle of the Western democratic civilization.
