Letter: Ireland for council

What an impressive turnout May 5, the highest turnout of voters since 2009. Thank you, Aspen voters. But we are not done yet. We need to vote again June 2 and elect Mick Ireland to the City Council. Mick has a long history of serving the community as a volunteer and as an elected official. But it is not just his extensive knowledge of public service that is relevant — it is the positive impact of what he has accomplished for the city and county in the areas of health and human services, affordable housing, land-use planning, transportation and environmental protection. He is a strategist, a team player and an authority on local issues. His integrity is unquestioned, and he is a proven leader in accomplishing the Aspen community’s goals. Please vote for Mick on June 2.
