Letter: In need of government stimulus

In need of government stimulus

I’m very much in the stock market. So, I thought I would share my collection of knowledge with all.

The short answer is that there is nothing else to invest in. All real estate is still struggling, but the real estate investment trusts are doing OK thanks to unprecedented low interest rates.

Every time the market goes down, it bounces back. Why? Because in a “bear” market, people are left with cash that earns very low interest. So, back they go into a rising market.

How long will this phenomenon go on? I say 2020. Or when the Dow hits 20,000.

What we need is a government that can provide economic stimulus. But that is denied us by the tea party Republicans, the SOBs (stupid ornery bastards).

Voters alert — put more SOBs in office, and expect nothing.
