Letter: I commend Basalt residents

I commend Basalt residents

Town council members are suggesting a compromise for the Pan and Fork property. They are proposing less development for more open space.

At the next town meeting Lowe Enterprise will respond to town council’s new recommendations. (Should we go with Lowe’s offer or find a developer with the foresight that would consider redeveloping Clark’s market area into a hotel/Trader Joes?)

Stay informed by attending the next town council meeting today (Tuesday) at 6 p.m. at Town Hall.

This opportunity has brought the community together to form a reasonable solution.

I commend the integrity of the Basalt residents.
