Letter: Hope Center gets a boost
While the Aspen Hope Center has been in the media a tremendous amount lately with regard to the community support we are offering, we wanted to take a moment out of our day to thank those who support us.
In December, Nina McLemore hosted an event honoring Lita Heller and donated a portion of the proceeds from sales. It was a lovely evening of smiles and fashion, honoring Lita and talking about the services the Hope Center provides.
In January, the Aspen Board of Realtors spotlighted the Aspen Hope Center and assisted in raising awareness for mental health, crisis and suicide prevention. Lunch presentations were held, along with an evening gathering during Wintersköl, and personal donations were received.
An enormous heartfelt thank-you to both Nina and the Aspen Board of Realtors for their support and time spent trying to raise awareness in our community.
We at the Hope Center could not support those in need the way we do without the support of the community. We are an agency of the community for the service to the community.
Thanks to all.

More kindness, less judgment with Mulcahy
I would like to make a comment to Aspen-Pitkin County Housing Authority, city of Aspen, Aspen Skiing Co., etc. with the ongoing Lee Mulcahy drama that has infested our community. In fact, it really applies…
