Letter: Honored to be part of the club

I would like to thank the Aspen community for the warm welcome I have received as the new executive director of the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club. It is both daunting and exciting to be taking over the reins of such a beloved institution. I want to assure the community that I plan to run the organization with the same commitment, teamwork and integrity that have made the club such a tremendous pillar in the Aspen community.

Last week, I had the opportunity to meet many of our donors, volunteers and families at the Annual AVSC Fourth of July Picnic. I would like to thank everyone for their help in making the picnic such a great event.

AVSC is an integral part of the fabric of the community. The picnic gave me the chance to catch a glimpse of the type of impact the club has on the city of Aspen. I am honored to be a part of this team. I look forward to meeting everyone and answering any questions that you may have about the club.
