Letter: Grants and gratitude

Every month, volunteers of the Thrift Shop of Aspen meet to continue to accomplish our mission: to make grants to other nonprofit organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley. We are grateful to all the community members who continue to support our efforts by donation and purchasing gently used clothing and household items. For the month of January, we are pleased to announce the following recipients: the Aspen Strong Foundation, Pitkin County Health and Human Services, Theater Masters, Children’s Rocky Mountain School, Science in Schools, Empty Bowls, the Basalt High School Book Club, Your Friends for Life, the Aspen Hall of Fame, the Aspen Chapel Gallery and Columbine Home Health.

Now more than ever, your support is critical to help us keep our community informed about the evolving coronavirus pandemic and the impact it is having locally. Every contribution, however large or small, will make a difference.
