Letter: Get a grip, kid

Get a grip, kid

I don’t understand what part of you do not smoke pot at the bus stop this punk kid did not understand. His “I didn’t do anything” cry was an attempt to influence the officer involved. Perhaps if his “daddy” or “mommy” had tanned his behind with a belt for disobedience, he would not have thought he was entitled to disobey an officer of the law. When a cop says jump, you need to say “how high sir, officer sir,” not whine “I didn’t do anything.” Get a grip, kid. And you students can run your BS back in the hangar. If you break the law, stand up like an adult raise your hands, admit your mistake, and move on. We all make mistakes.
