Letter: Fostering creativity

Third- and fourth-grade students were on the edge of their seats Thursday when the results of the 15th annual Fraser Creative Writing Contest were announced. Jill Sheeley, a local author, has once again inspired young students to apply their writing skills to create works of fiction. This year, 66 students were recognized for their creative stories depicting what Aspen would be like in the year 2050 (both scary and delightful). The Aspen Elementary School community would like to thank Jill for her continuous efforts to inspire young writers.
