Letter: Entrepreneurship, wellness and the Aspen Idea
The Aspen Idea. It’s simple and elegant. The integration of mind, body and spirit. There may be no better place for entrepreneurs to be creative, to be mindful, to be healthy and to find answers they have been seeking to pressing global challenges. That’s the vision we had in creating the Aspen Entrepreneurs and Investors Network nine months ago: to create a center of gravity for entrepreneurs to collaborate with like-minded souls, to learn, to breathe deep, to focus on real challenges facing them on a regular basis and to build solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. It’s well-documented that the most successful entrepreneurs in our ever-connected society take time to reflect and listen to their hearts and their souls. From Uber to Facebook and from Main Street to Wall Street, only those who, as Tony Buettner of Blue Zones so aptly noted, “take the time to downshift every day” are the ones who leave stress behind and live their lives to the fullest. Join us today at the Crystal Palace at 7:30 p.m. to hear local legends Gina Murdock, Jess Ewart and Jayne Gottlieb discuss how Aspen is uniquely positioned to lead the charge when it comes to wellness and entrepreneurship. See you there!
