Letter: Death penalty warranted in double homicide

I’m aghast that the death penalty is unlikely in the killing of the Lopezes. If that brutal, horrific crime doesn’t call for death, what does?

This was an upstanding family with wonderful children whose lives have been ruined. Letting someone like this killer live is just not payment for the crime.
