Letter: Cycling season

Ah, the road bikers are back, making driving cars dangerous, blocking traffic and breaking laws, but Aspen has made them king of the road. They drive on Owl Creek Road, Highway 82 and Brush Creek Road, and the list goes on, when there are beautiful bike paths 5 or 10 feet away.

If bikers are going to drive on our roads, they should have numbers on their shirts. That way, when the dopes kill someone, they can pay the price we drivers have to pay. Of course, Aspen, Snowmass Village, Basalt and Pitkin County could prevent future disasters by passing laws that require bikes to use the multimillion-dollar paths provided for them or pay a fine.

The last time I wrote a letter, I received threats. Some of the road bikers are SOBs (stupid ornery bikers.)
