Letter: Correcting yesterday’s letter

In my May 5 letter to the editor (“Boogie an icon of Aspen generosity,” The Aspen Times), I made an error on a few facts. The letter was about Boogie Weinglass and the error was the part about Amanda Boxtel.

I wrote that she was a high school teacher, but she was an elementary teacher. She was 23 when paralyzed, not 27.

She does not own a condo in Basalt but pays rent to the Boogie’s Diner Foundation so the rent can help others.
