Letter: Community bonfire success

On behalf of the Citizens Committee for the Pan & Fork River Park, thanks to the Basalt community for turning out for our Bonfire last Saturday night.

The Citizens offered to host the bonfire during this election season to bring our community together on the setting of the proposed park. It was a bluebird sky followed by a gorgeous sunset and three-quarter moon, with the always-popular Bo Hale leading an acoustic sing-along of classic songs.

We believe that more park and less development will enhance and bring vibrancy to historic downtown. Community events are a significant part of that mix. Join us next time.

We hope you enjoyed the setting and we look forward to hosting more events in the future.

Kimbo for Aspen City Council

|

Vote for Kimbo Brown-Schirato for council. She’s the right choice at the right time for Aspen. She listens, works extremely well with others, and she’s effective.
