Letter: Come together for the Pan & Fork

Basalt Town Council did a great job Tuesday night listening to the residents’ concerns about dense development on the Pan and Fork site. What they are asking for is smart, responsible, reasonable development.

I commend our mayor and town council members who voted to not renew Lowe Enterprises’ predevelopment plan.

Now the two sides of this controversy have an opportunity to come together to make the Pan and Fork a revenue-generating public amenity.
