Letter: Bravo on a great performance

I would like to thank the Aspen High School theater department for the lovely experience of “Singin’ in the Rain.”

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. From the sets, to the creative staging and costumes and the marvelous performance of Steve Heldt’s orchestra, the quality was astounding for a high school play.

The best part was watching the joy and verve each of the performers brought to the stage whether singing, dancing or acting. The total commitment and time spent on rehearsal shone through for every player, from the considerable talents of the leads to the smaller character parts and chorus. It was memorable, pleasurable and every bit as good as some memories we have of Broadway performances.

Thank you, Aspen High School theater department, director Logan Carter and technical director Jon Geller, for aiming so high and achieving your goal!
