Booster Club seeking members

Dear Editor:

The Aspen High School Booster Club is looking for new members for our Executive Committee. We welcome enthusiastic, committed, fun-loving individuals who would like to join us in our goal of giving 100 percent of our proceeds to 100 percent of the student activities at Aspen High School. We fund athletics, clubs, electives, and other student groups. We have several openings for new members for the 2013-2014 school year and it is a great way to be involved with what goes on at Aspen High School. In addition to general committee members, we are searching for someone to solicit and support sponsors for our new sponsorship program, which will provide new sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and individuals.

If you are interested or can recommend someone who is, please contact Susan Marolt (slmarolt@comcast.net/970-923-8966) or Mary Ryerson (maryryerson@alpinebank.com/970-948-9541) as soon as possible. We will have an informational get together on Aug. 15. Call us for more details!

Thanks and go Skiers!

Susan Marolt and Mary Ryerson

Poschman can’t muzzle the public

I express my concern about Pitkin County commissioner and chair of Pitkin’s Board of Health Greg Poschman’s statement at the Jan.13, 2022, Board of Health meeting.
