Letter: Bike-swap thank-you

The Aspen High School mountain-bike team would like to thank the Aspen community for its tremendous support of our second annual Bike Swap. Thanks to you, we grew to about double our inaugural swap last year and are already looking forward to June 2016’s event.

Special thanks to both The Aspen Times and the Aspen Daily News for getting the word out and to Aspen Bike Rentals and Basalt Bike and Ski for providing retail representation. Also, thanks to the many local athletes who donated gear and/or took time out to peddle their wares in our vendor area. And finally, thanks to the team parents, volunteers and swarm of consumers who supported our efforts. We couldn’t have done it without you. We truly feel that our swap is quickly becoming an Aspen spring kickoff tradition.

Paul Stucki

Coach, Aspen High School mountain-bike team
