Letter: Benghazi and barn wood

In response to Richard C. Goodwin’s letter to the editor Sept. 8 asking the public whether they could “sleep at night knowing (Donald) Trump’s finger is on a button for nuclear war” (“The crazy 88”), my answer is: Yes, I will sleep just as peacefully as our secretary of state slept on the night of Benghazi, missing the 3 a.m. phone call and the scheduled meeting with President Obama and his top aides on Sept. 15, 2012, just days after 9/11 — missing it entirely. “I just woke up,” Clinton wrote in an email sent at 10:43 a.m.

In response to the front-page article regarding Testosterone (“Testosterone problems”), so much for the local, hardworking small-business owners left in this town who ask for no government subsidies and are not afraid to spend their own time and money to better their situations — in this case, making substantial improvements to an area and a building that had been an eyesore for years! Robert, once you rip down the beautiful Colorado barn wood, let me know; I will bring some paint and add to the old graffiti!
