Letter: Bench buddies
My name is Gabriel Bonilla. I have lived in the El Jebel area all my life. I also am part of Boy Scout Troop 242 of Basalt. Recently, I finished my Eagle Scout project, which consisted of adding more benches around the lake in the community of Blue Lake. My project was made possible with the help and support of the following organizations: Blue Lake Homeowners’ Association, Basalt Lions Club, Jerry’s Valley Taxi and RG Construction Ltd. Also to the following who came and helped with the work and to help me complete my project: Tom, Chris and Ethan Tomaskovick; Gregg and A.J. Adams; Elmer Canales; Brad Elliott; Jerry Evert; and Elmer, Ladibel and Ligia Bonilla. I would love to give special thanks to all adult leaders from my troop who have been helping me throughout my scouting journey — without them, none of this could be possible.
