Letter: Behold your backyard

Dear Editor:

I’d like to invite and encourage members of the community to partake in the Summer Hike Series offered by the Wilderness Workshop. It’s been an absolute pleasure to act as one of the hike leaders for this program as we have had the opportunity to get into some of the most beautiful places in our backyard and explore! This is not only a great time to hike with friends, new and old, but a wonderful chance to learn about some of the political activity in these very special areas. We have chosen hike locations immersed in Thompson Divide or places that are being considered for potential wilderness designation. This fantastic program is absolutely free. Spots are limited, so register online at http://www.wildernessworkshop.org.

Happy trails!

Kimbo for Aspen City Council

Vote for Kimbo Brown-Schirato for council. She’s the right choice at the right time for Aspen. She listens, works extremely well with others, and she’s effective.
