Letter (Aug. 31): Go West, local police officers

Go West, local police officers

Dear Editor:

For those who have been interested in my conquest to get pension programs for both the Aspen Police force and the Pitkin County deputies, if you are talking to living the dead about it, you get nowhere, isn’t that right folks?

Well, for those Aspen police officers and Pitkin County deputies who would like to earn $175,000 a year and be in a police union that looks out for its members, then you will want to compete for the new 19 Huntington Beach police officer jobs that are coming on line very, very soon.

Huntington Beach is in Orange County in Southern California. Yes, it’s got beach and babes, and the white kids are known for rioting at the beach over the decades.

This is the best I do for you because the living dead don’t want you to have pensions, do they?

Welcome to Surf City! That’s Huntington Beach for $175,000 a year in U.S. dollars!
