Letter (Aug. 23): Skiers take the field tonight

Skiers take the field tonight

Dear Editor:

Aspen High School’s football team will be play its first scrimmage of the season at 6 tonight (Friday, Aug. 23).

Please, all community members, come out and support your Aspen Skiers. There will be half-time entertainment by the Aspen High School dance team and food provided by the Booster Club. Please remember that airhorns and cowbells are prohibited.

Prices are $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens, $4 for students, and Booster Club members are admitted free.

Hope to see everyone out there. Make lots of noise. We are louder than the other fans.

Thanks, and go Skiers.

Lauren Jackson

Watch where you walk on Snowmass trails

The Snowmass Village cross country ski course is suffering from its own epidemic, that of people walking on, and destroying, our beautifully groomed trails.
