Letter: An accomplished candidate

I write this letter to ask voters to vote for Scott Writer for Pitkin County commissioner.

Scott’s active involvement in the community spans five decades. He was one of the leaders in getting the Aspen Recreation Center built and has served as a coach on various teams over the years for a generation of young people here in the valley. He is a business leader, father, skier and husband.

One of his chief issues is to make housing affordable and stable for locals who are pivotal in keeping the county running efficiently — schoolteachers, firefighters, nurses, county and city employees, and many others.

Please vote for Scott Writer on June 28.

Thank you!

Participate in The Longevity Project

The Longevity Project is an annual campaign to help educate readers about what it takes to live a long, fulfilling life in our valley. This year Kevin shares his story of hope and celebration of life with his presentation Cracked, Not Broken as we explore the critical and relevant topic of mental health.
