Letter: Act locally on global warming

Editor’s note: The following letter was originally addressed to the Snowmass Village Town Council.

The future is upon us. If you doubt global warming, see the Rocky Mountain Institute’s annual year-end report. It is zooming ahead at the speed of light to address this planetary problem.

Snowmass Village should have a clarion call for action as soon as possible. New and existing carbon emissions can be addressed at no cost. But there must be a political will.

I will be presenting details soon.
