Letter: A valuable experience

As the school year is ending, I wanted to thank the Buddy Program for the outdoor leadership class it has provided for me and my classmates at Roaring Fork High School.

I really, really, really enjoyed this class! I’ve learned many, many things in the class, such as CPR and wilderness first aid, and I’m very thankful for it. In order to grow, you need to place yourself in tough situations — like getting to the hut on snowshoes and backpacking in the wilderness. These things are a part of the class and a part of life.

I am really glad that I had the opportunity to participate in this class. Thanks, Buddy Program!
